Hi Guys,

Well, I'm getting the high sign from my boss that we've waited long
enough, so I'm getting on the horn to you guys. I think you mentioned
that Chuck Hickey is still available a few weeks ago, and I also wanted
to talk to Matt if he's still available.

I'm looking for someone who can do the majority of the kernel
development work that I myself do, because I'm too busy to keep up with
it. The person needs to know git, although doesn't need to be the
world's greatest expert. They have to be a kernel generalist, but
definitely know memory handling, networking, filesystems, and
infrastructure: building and configuring. I need to be able to say: we
need a driver for XYZ, and not hear from the person for a week while
s/he goes off and writes the driver. Unless they have questions about
how to do it.

I don't need the most senior person in the world. In fact, a
less-experienced person would be a great addition to the team that is
already top-heavy with senior prima-dona asswipes like myself.

A contractor that can just knock things out would also be fine.

Thanks,

a
