Just to make my position clear:

Please don't spend any time on this, you guys.  Unless Max is offering
to help with txrx related code, there's no reason why he should be
trying to build this.  The sooner he figures that out and gets busy on
FP code, the better.

Seriously, Max needs to get started on the FP work, and get his mind
off what we're doing.
