Subject: how to ACTUALLY tell which slot is mounted as root

Hi R,

Brian tells me you're working on trying to mod chassisd to set the led
to the card that's actually mounted.

Here's how to do that:

The /sys directory for the first slot is:

/sys/devices/pci0000\:00/0000\:00\:07.0/0.0/host0/target0\:0\:0/0\:0\:0\:0/

and for the second slot:

/sys/devices/pci0000\:00/0000\:00\:07.1/1.0/host1/target1\:0\:0/1\:0\:0\:0/

there will be a symlink in that directory that is either block:sda or
block:sdb and that will tell you which slot is associated with which
drive letter.

Let me know if you have questions or this doesn't make sense.

Cheers,

a
