Hi Bruce,

First, I just wanted to say thanks for the update note you sent me way
back in October. Since then I've been making it clear to everyone
in my immediate sphere that the dom0 for the orion product is being
done by your group, and that's the end of that story. I've heard that
the notion is catching on as word spreads that you guys have the lead,
despite whatever large check may have been written to Citrix. It's
certainly what us NAS folks will be leveraging. As you said, you guys
are way out in front of everyone.

Since .32 came out and I've been looking over the changelog, it seems
to me that we'll want to be using .32, what with the advances in vm
and the optimizations helpful to Virtual Machine type applications. So,
if you agree with that, the question becomes, how do we tell everyone
~:^) I've been mentioning it to my boss and other folks semi-casually
so that it won't come as a shock to too many people. I know I wasn't
prepared for the tsunami of activity that ensued after 2.6.31 was
officially announced as the version for orion. I guess I still have
some learning to do w.r.t. how seeminly little things can become much
bigger at large companies. I understand that they even felt the need
to go get 2.6.31 "approved" by IBM. Doh.

Cheers,

a
