I've got so many options now, one has to work ~:^)

I must say that I'm happy with HR's response to all this.  Instead of
adding to the fists aimed at my chin, Cathy has been trying her best to
help, to get answers from people, and generally just caring.  I'm not
necessarily used to that from HR.
