I will see my boss tomorrow in Wichita and scream at him. We all had a
meeting Thursday to hash out the reqs v. candidates, and only one
candidate was given the go-ahead to get an offer. Today I get an email
that another one of the considered candidates "accepted." Huh? I'm
pissed and I'm hoping it was a mistake, but at the same time they said
that's it, all the req's are consumed. But I'm still hoping it's a
mistake and that he's talking about someone else and therefore
miscounted.

I'll get back to you when I know more; hopefully heads won't have to
roll.

Cheers,

a

PS The candidate we did make an offer to, the recruiter sent me an email
saying that LSI "...cut the fee by $9k." I'm not sure what that means,
I thought a contract was a contract, but I'll find out, I'm sure.
