Linux is going to need a fan upgrade on all Bobcats then.  Cause it's
so powerful, it needs another gear in the fan.  Uber maximum.  Full
hover.

Try running the kernel that is documented in the wiki, ie.
tftp://ripper/vmlinux.bobcat and the kernel modules located at
ripper:/var/nfsroot/bc-masses

Did you get that C library build fired up?
