Training

* Linux Device Driver Development at University of California-Santa Cruz
	(UCSC) Extension Cupertino in February 2008.

	Description: Experience on Linux device driver development (write kernel
	code to access the hardware) and also with debugging tools such as GDB,
	the standard GNU debugger which allows to look inside a running kernel
	and the kernel debugger (KGDB), the patch that enables gdb to fully
	debug the kernel remotely over a serial line.

* Linux: Embedded Design and Programming at University of California-Santa
	Cruz (UCSC) Extension Cupertino in May 2007.

	Description: Hands on training in cross-platform environment (includes
	building of cross-platform tool chain on host computer system for Cirrus
	Logic EP9302 ARM 9 core microprocessor) and developing programs for
	embedded Linux and RedBoot/U-boot boot loader.

* Hands on training in real time embedded operating system at University
	of California-Santa Cruz (UCSC) Extension Cupertino in March 2007.

	Description: Developed small programs to understand basic methodologies
	of real-time systems.

* ARM based systems using Real view ARM Emulator.
	Description: Experience on ARM assembly and ARM microprocessor
	architecture using ARM tools, GNU tools.

	Projects/Modules Designed and Developed
	* Voice over WiFi networks
	Development Details: ARM, C, H323, and Linux
	Developed a voice over wireless LAN (802.11g) using openH323 and ARM based
	Linux embedded system. Ported and tested openH323 stack on ARM (arm926)
	versatile development platform. Configured and tested the platform over
	a wireless LAN network for basic functions.
	* Linux Monitoring System
	Development Details: Linux
	Developed a system monitoring software for Linux. It has client
	and server programs to monitor services. All errors are stored
	to a file and viewed using cgi-scripts.
	* Recovery and Monitoring System for system hardware configurations
	Development Details: Visual Basic.Net
	Designed and developed a system for IT department of Hindustan
	Aeronautics Limited (HAL) engine division to automate the daily
	activities for back up, monitoring hardware configuration and
	software status of the computer system. The program automatically
	takes back up of files at the time and date as scheduled by the user.
	* Multitasking support for TICS
	Development Details:  C, x86, TICS-OS
	Developed a co-operative multitasking for the real time operating
	system TICS. The function was implemented using yield functions
	and tested on an x86 system.
